Q: How many books are there in the Failsafe Series?

A: A minimum of three – Failsafe is out now, Beyond Failsafe will be released in mid 2025, and the third book is scheduled for later in 2025.

Q: Where can I buy your books and which formats are they available in?

A: Amazon, Barnes & Nobles. Both offer the e-book version, and paperback.

Buy from Amazon

Don't like Amazon? No problem, pick your favorite book seller from this list:

Q: What’s age level are the Failsafe novels?

A: I hoped to make them totally accessible to all levels, although like in the real world there are some four letter words here and there...

Q: How do you develop your stories?

A: It’s a bit like this: Imagine a wooden fence... I’m on one side of this fence, peeping through a little hole at the other side where the story happens. Sometimes I catch a glimpse, and then I write it down. I really didn’t expect something like that to appear, but it came out somehow!

Q: Who is the mysterious person standing at the terminal as Nathan and Elena take off at the end of Failsafe (I)?

A: Well, I’m not really supposed to tell you, but it is Brenda. Why? Read book 2 to find out!

Q: What matters to you when you write books?

A: If only one person who reads my writing is affected or touched by it, that’s all I need!

Q : What’s a favourite part of yours in one of your books?

A: It is at the end of Failsafe (I) when Harris is thinking of his house and looking forward to going home to be with his birds.

Q: What are some fundamental limitations of AI?

A: Human experience and human expression of beauty are both poorly rendered by AI today, but who knows what the future holds.

Q: Why are most of the key decisions in the Failsafe series made by women?

A: I don’t really know. It just happened.

Q: How do you go about writing books?

A: There are two main ways to write books: one is based on ideas and concepts.Tolstoi did that a lot. You kind of adjust your characters to match these concepts, or your plot line. The other way is based on the character themselves. That’s what I do.

Q: Tell us a unique detail about the Failsafe story?

A: Hm, how about this one: It is a thriller without an antagonist!

Q: How would you describe your writing style?

A: I like to save words when saying something. Not minimalistic. But neither decorative or full of flourish.

Q: Who are your favourite Sci-Fi writers?

A: Ursula LeGuin, Ray Bradbury, Neil Gaiman, Patrick Rothfus

Q: Tell us more about the Failsafe series – what’s going to happen in book 3?

A: This books expands the stage to time and space, adressing very basic questions on humanity. In the meantime read books 1 and 2, and leave me some feedback on Barnes & Noble, Amazon or here on my website! Thank you.

Q: I don't use Kindle. What can I do?

A: Well, you can always go classic and read a paperback copy… Or you buy your non-Kindle e-reader book from one of the other vendors. But for a limited time I am also offering a Failsafe (I) promo for ePub users here.
